Challenges and Opportunities for Tourism in a Green Economy

For this topic i need to explain their challenges witch is water consumption.Most of water were used on accommodation and food service. For accommodation mostly spend on guest consumption, landscape and property management and laundry activities. Global direct water consumption in international tourism ( accommodation only ) is estimated to be only 1.3 km3 per year. Main water-consuming factors are golf courses, irrigated gardens, swimming pools, spas, wellness facilities and guest rooms. Local communities use freshwater for 8 purposes : hygenies purposes, cooking, dishwashing, drinking, washing clothes, cleaning, and feeding animals. -Sarah-
